Sundance Lodge is a unique privately-owned, family-oriented campground located in the heart of the spectacular recreation area known as Kananaskis Country in Alberta, Canada. Surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Rocky Mountains and bordered by the pristine Kananaskis River, we offer comfortable "adventure-accommodation" in authentic tipis and cosy trapper's tents, as well as secluded, unserviced campsites for tents and RVs.

Kananaskis Country offers incredible opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, golfing, rock climbing, horseback riding, white-water rafting and kayaking. It's also a great place for bird watching and wildlife viewing - bring your camera!

Sundance Lodges is a convenient halfway point for day trips - only 45 minutes to the outskirts of Calgary and 45 minutes to Canmore and Banff. See the sights, then retreat to the peace and solitude of your campfire at the end of the day. Cook something enticing over your campfire, or enjoy superb cuisine a short drive away at the Kananaskis Village. Gaze at the stars - so brilliant you want to reach out and touch them. Wake up to the soothing sounds of songbirds, the fresh scent of pine trees and the awesome sight of the rugged Rocky Mountains surrounding the valley.
