THE TIPI

Our beautiful Sioux design tipis are authentic canvas, hand-painted with native-style designs. Each tipi is on its own site, surrounded by forest and connected by a winding road to other sites. Guests bring their own bedding & camping supplies or rent from us.

INSIDE THE TIPI

• A wooden floor, wood-frame beds with foam mattresses sealed in plastic, and a small kerosene heater & lantern (we supply the fuel)

OUTSIDE THE TIPI

• a picnic table and a fire pit with a half-grill for cooking

SIZES

• Large Tipi - one double bed & 2 single beds (sleeps 4)
• Small Tipi - two single beds (sleeps 2)

NUMBERS OF UNITS

• Large Tipis - 9
• Small Tipis - 3

SPACING

• All units are spaced well apart with trees between them.

RECOMMENDED TO BRING

• Flashlights, warm clothes (a jogging suit and socks are great for sleeping), warm bedding (better too much than too little, as the heater just takes the chill off), rain gear, cooking equipment & food, a cooler (we sell ice), tarps (for shade or rain protection), an axe, matches, and an outside lantern if you want one.

Our cozy, rustic trapper's tents, each on their own site and surrounded by trees, are extremely comfortable. Whether it's suntanning weather or raining out, you will enjoy sitting on your deck under the shelter of your awning. Some tents have wooden doors; others have zippers.
