2019 Reservations will be taken in March. Specific dates and times for both group and individual reservations to be released in January, 2019.

All booking requests are reviewed and processed within five business days. Please wait to hear back for a confirmation. 

You can use the availability calendar to see possible openings. The calendar is subject to change at any time due to simultaneous submissions.

Tipis are available June 22 to early September.

Check-in is between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. We recommend arriving by 6 p.m., especially if you have rented camping supplies.

Check-out is by 11 a.m. for tipis and trapper's tents; 12 noon for campsites.

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD), subject to the 5% GST and to change without notice
  • Please note: a non-refundable booking fee of $10.00 per site will be added to each reservation
  • Surcharges and camping supplies must be paid with the reservation
  • The total number of reservations or sites per individual /family/group may be limited; the number of groups may be limited on weekends
  • A maximum of four adults per site
  • Site requests are taken but we reserve the right to make changes before check-in without notification
  • Pets must be well-behaved, always leashed, picked up after and never left alone in the tent or at the site

There is no minimum stay during the week.

  • Regular Weekends: two nights

  • Long Weekends: three nights

You can start your weekend on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. If a site is booked for a Thursday and Friday night stay on a regular weekend, that site is available for someone wanting just Saturday night. In the spring and fall, the minimum stay requirement may be lifted just before a weekend begins if any sites are still left open; however, this does not change the minimum stay requirement for those who have already booked.



Maximum units allowed per campsite: two tents or two RV's or one of each. No exceptions - please be sure you have booked the correct number of campsites. This second camping unit may be a sleeping tent, children’s tent, storage tent or an RV. The surcharge for this second item is listed below.

Note: only one item, usually a small tent, is allowed on a tipi/trapper’s tent site (see cost below).

  • Added tent on site $15.00/night
  • Added RV on site $25.00/night
  • Only a few sites can accommodate an extra RV -  it must be small and confirmed with the office  that it will fit before you book
  • Facility use charge $10.00 /night per extra adult (18+). Example, if there are more than two adults in a small tipi the charge is applied to the extra adults. If you have an extra person, you can rent a cot from us or bring your own foamy
  • Pet charge: each $2.00/night
  • Firewood: available for purchase on-site (you can bring your own if it's from Alberta)

We are privately owned and operated, appealing to those who enjoy peace and tranquility. Many guests return year after year because they know we do our best to provide such an atmosphere. 

As a small Family Campground, we are not suitable for most family reunions, stags, stagettes, weddings, corporate get togethers or teen parties. We do not have a kitchen shelter or a separate group area. 

Parties are not allowed nor is offensive behaviour at any time. Music must be "contained" within your campsite and not bother other guests during the daytime. At 10:30pm, music must be turned OFF. If you make a reservation, you are responsible for the conduct of all campers in your party as well as any visitors. If this doesn't fit with your view of camping, we're sure you'll be happier in a different campground.

Reservation, payment and cancellation policies for tour operators differ from that of general reservations.  Please call us for more info. Unfortunately, we do not accept bookings from Tour Operators / Travel Agents on weekends.

SINGLE RESERVATIONS (one to two sites)

a) For stays of less than seven nights, the amount may be paid in full, or as follows:

  • DEPOSIT - 50% of the total amount is due by credit card to confirm the booking
  • BALANCE - The remaining 50% goes through automatically seven days before arrival on the same credit card
  • If arrival date is within two weeks of the booking request, the full amount will be charged to the credit card on file.

b) For stays of seven nights or more, the amount may be paid in full, or as follows:

  • DEPOSIT - 50% of total owing by credit card is due on booking to confirm stay
  • BALANCE - goes through automatically one month before arrival

If a payment is declined the booking may be considered cancelled. If you prefer not to make a reservation, you can take your chances on whether or not we have space and just drop-in. Drop-ins pay in full on arrival. Only the nights paid for are guaranteed. Extension of your stay may require moving to a different site.

Cancellation Policy

SINGLE RESERVATIONS (one to two sites)

For stays less than seven nights:
Your cancellation deadline is seven days before arrival.

Cancelling on or before your deadline:
If you cancel your entire stay there is a $20 charge per site ($10 admin and $10 booking fee). 

If you cancel part of your stay on or before your deadline, there is a $10.00 admin fee per site.

Cancelling after your deadline:
If you cancel the entire stay after your deadline, the first night cancelled (plus booking fee and GST) on each site is non-refundable. If you cancel part of your stay after your deadline, the first night cancelled and GST are non-refundable. Minimum stays are still required on weekends.

There are NO refunds or credits on or after your day of arrival. 


For stays of seven or more nights:
Your cancellation deadline is one month before arrival

Cancelling on or before your deadline:
If you cancel your entire stay there is a $20 charge per site ($10 admin and $10 booking fee). 

If you cancel part of your stay before your deadline, there is a $10.00 admin fee per site cancelled.

Cancelling after your deadline:
If you cancel any or all nights after your deadline, there are no refunds / credits. Minimum stays are still required on weekends. Be sure you want that number of nights when making the original booking.


Long Weekend Override: 
If you cancel after your cancellation deadline, all three nights of the Long Weekend are non-refundable.

Please Note - there are NO refunds/rainchecks for the following:

  • leaving early for any reason
  • showing up late or not at all ("no show")
  • inclement weather or family emergencies
  • this also applies to any factors beyond our control including evictions, disasters, and environmental emergencies.
